On July 20th this year, KLEO Seminyak quietly opened its doors, marking the debut of the JdV by Hyatt brand in Southeast Asia. With its free-spirited essence and a philosophy rooted in joie de vivre (the joy of life), the boutique hotel has already begun carving its place in the heart of Seminyak.
Set in one of Bali’s most dynamic districts, home to world-class dining, buzzing bars, chic boutiques, wellness spots, and sun-drenched beach clubs. With 60 mid-century modern rooms, eclectic design touches, and social spaces that invite connection, KLEO sets the stage for both spontaneous encounters and curated experiences. From sunset soirées on the rooftop to late-night lounging and poolside gatherings, the energy is playful yet refined, moments designed to linger long into the night.
The hotel’s culinary heart is Zia Tina, led by Chef Maurizio Bombini, one of Bali’s most innovative Italian chefs. Inspired by traditional Puglian farmhouses, the restaurant channels the warmth of an Italian auntie; handmade pastas, thin-crust pizzas, grilled meats, and produce-driven dishes paired with aperitivi and wines. Above it all sits Rooftop Social, a Riviera-inspired perch for golden sunsets, breezy cocktails, and gatherings that feel both stylish and familiar.

A Grand Celebration
On September 18th, KLEO Seminyak hosted its Grand Opening Celebration, transforming the boutique hotel into a lively neighbourhood festival. In collaboration with its surrounding community, the evening brought together good food, music, and plenty of surprises. Guests enjoyed burgers, Aperol spritz, Gelato, Dance and Bubble performances, all woven into an atmosphere of joy and connection.
The night ended on a high note with a lucky draw, sending guests home with smiles (and vouchers). A fitting celebration for a hotel that celebrates community as much as design and hospitality.
