At first, many people thought Pad Thai from Vietnam or China. This food was first known during the Ayutthaya kingdom. The Pad Thai dish is made with rice, eggs, tofu, tamarind, fish sauce, garlic, palm sugar, chili, and soybeans. Pad Thai usually contains shrimp, crab, or chicken.

Som Tum

This Thai salad is made from young papaya with special seasonings. The seasoning consists of palm sugar, fish sauce, lime, and chili. The main ingredient of Som Tum is young papaya. But not only that, there are dried shrimp, long beans, eggplant, tomatoes, and coarsely ground roasted peanuts.

This fresh Thai soup dish is very popular. A spicy and sour taste is perfect for those who like spicy food. Tom Yum has a strong taste because of the spices used. Besides that, there are other ingredients, such as fish sauce, lime leaves, lime, lemongrass, laos, and chili. There are various types of Tom Yum, such as Tom Yum Goong with shrimp, Tom Yum Pla with fish, and Tom Yum Po Tek with seafood.

Mango Sticky Rice

Not only is the food popular, but this Thai snack too. Mango Sticky Rice is widely spread in Indonesia and Bali. This snack has a blend of mango with thick coconut milk on top of sticky rice, making the taste of this snack even more savory.
