The signing ceremony, which took place at Hamad International Airport against the striking backdrop of the airline’s Boeing 787-8 and Airbus A350-900, featured Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer and FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
This extended partnership encompasses major FIFA tournaments, including FIFA World Cup 26™, FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™, and FIFA World Cup 2030™, along with all youth men’s and women’s tournaments, commencing with the FIFA U-17 World Cup™ in Indonesia. Since May 2017, the Airways has played an integral role in FIFA’s global initiatives, a role that continues with this renewed partnership, emphasizing its ongoing commitment to the worldwide development of football.
