On Sunday, 9 July 2023, Celebrate Wellness, one of the most anticipated annual events at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, was held in the splendor of the Bali International Convention Centre (BICC).
This wellness event is part of the resort’s commitment to being a well-being partner for both guests and colleagues. Inside Flow Concert by Martin and Tasya, Martasya Yoga of Inside Flow Indonesia, Linedance Party by Glories Putera, a group dancing competition combined with a group jamming session, and a Zumba Tour 3.0 by Indonesia’s leading wellness celebrity, Denada Tambunan were all part of this year’s Celebrate Wellness program.
The morning began with a few motivating remarks from Sander Looijen, General Manager of The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, followed by the sounding of the beautiful Spa by Westin’s Singing Bowl to mark the inauguration of the 2023 Celebrate Wellness. This annual trademark health event, which has been held for the past six years, began with an Inside Flow Concert recharge session given by Martasya Yoga, who led the Inside Flow Indonesia community for 90 minutes.
It was a lovely morning yoga flow with fantastic background music that allowed people to sing along as they proceeded through the yoga positions. The wellness enthusiasm grew as the session switched to a Linedance Party conducted by Glories Putera, Bali’s leading Linedance Coach. Ten groups competed for enticing prizes in a group line dance competition. For three hours in between the dancing competition, the participants were absorbed in the beats of group jamming sessions.
The evening then reached to the most anticipated session featuring the Zumba Tour 3.0 led by Indonesia Zumba Ambassador, Denada Tambunan. All the participants enjoyed an energetic Zumba session lasting 75 minutes, located at the Exhibition Hall of BICC, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali. Additionally, a wellness bazaar showcased irresistible local products for all visitors to enjoy in the comfort of the BICC Foyer.
