Enjoy The View of The Sea Surface

No need to dive deeper, the sea presents beauty even on the surface. With snorkeling, you can enjoy the underwater beauty such as coral reefs, fish, shellfish, starfish, seaweed, jellyfish, and other marine life. One of the best places to snorkel is in the eastern part of Bali, close to the Padang Bai Beach, namely the Blue Lagoon. If you are a beginner or want to take the children to snorkel, this is the perfect snorkeling spot because the drift are calm and the waters are not too deep.

A Little Deeper about The Sea

Diving 10 meters or more from the sea level, diving is a way to see the diversity of marine life and of course to enjoy the beauty of the hidden panorama of the sea that can only be enjoyed by some people. The deeper you dive, the more amazing marine life you will meet. One of the best diving spots in Bali is Tanjung Benoa. Located about 30 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport, Tanjung Benoa is generally the most visited water tourism spot in Bali.

Release Baby Turtles into The Ocean

Sea turtles are one of the endangered animals. Still in Tanjung Benoa, there is a sea turtles sanctuary which is called Sea Turtle Island. The guide will introduce the captive process of sea turtles. And if you are lucky, you can see the sea turtles hatching and the process of releasing sea turtles into the sea.

Savor Sustainable Seafood

After doing many activities on World Ocean Day, the stomach feels empty. Therefore, seafood on the edge of Jimbaran beach is the right choice. You can buy fresh fish directly from fishermen who have just pulled over and brought out their fishing rods. Some fishermen use bad methods to catch fish with the aim of getting massive catches. This could damage the marine ecosystem and this method is illegal. However, this does not apply to fishermen on Jimbaran Beach. After buying fish from the fishermen, you can take the fish to the nearest restaurant along Jimbaran Beach to be grilled and ready to eat.
