People usually visit Bali to enjoy the beauty of the beach. But if you are tired of going to the beach and want to go to a more exciting and hidden place, you can visit a waterfall near Ubud.

Bring a change of clothes if you want to swim and appropriate footwear to avoid slipping on the slippery path to the waterfall.

Tegenungan Waterfall

Tegenungan waterfall is Bali’s best and largest waterfall. The beautiful scenery attracts visitors who come here. It is located 10 kilometers from Ubud on Jalan Ir. Sutami, Kemenuh, Sukawati, Gianyar. Tegenungan waterfall has clear water and beautiful scenery. So visitors can swim while capturing holiday moments. However, if you visit during the day, it will be crowded. There are a small restaurant, changing room, and bathroom near the waterfall.

Sumampan Waterfall

Sumampan waterfall can be found in Kemenuh, Sukawati, Gianyar. It is enough to travel 10 kilometers from Ubud. You must pass through the stairs to get to this waterfall, but be careful because the route is still a path. Unfortunately, this waterfall is less well-known, although the atmosphere surrounding it is beautiful to enjoy because there are stone carvings on the riverside portraying Gods in Bali. The water is clear but sometimes swift, making it unsuitable for swimming or crossing rivers.

Manuaba Waterfall

This is a small waterfall that is still rarely visited by tourists. Located in the village of Kenderan, Tegallalang, and close to Griya Sakti Manuaba Temple. You must travel 10 kilometers from Ubud to reach Manuaba waterfall. Rice fields and forests surrounding the waterfall add to the natural feel. If you want to visit, there is a sign pointing to this waterfall or you can ask the locals.

Kanto Lampo Waterfall

Kanto Lampo waterfall is also one of the most famous waterfalls. It is located 11 kilometers from Ubud. It is a hidden gem in Bali, located in the village of Beng, Gianyar. The trek to the waterfall is relatively easy, and once there, you will be rewarded with a fantastic view. Here you can swim and climb the rocks. Don’t forget to capture the moment by taking beautiful photos while you’re here.

Goa Rang Reng Waterfall

The Goa Rang Reng Waterfall differs from other waterfalls. It has a long hillside with water flowing slowly into the rock layers. The road to the waterfall is relatively easy, but be careful because the ground can sometimes be slippery. Even though the location is quite hidden, the beautiful green scenery with a calm and peaceful atmosphere makes it ideal for unwinding. Located in Bakbakan, Gianyar, 12 kilometers from Ubud.
